April 27, 2023 thru May 16, 2023
When the temperature is 70 degrees or warmer AND there is no rain forecasted between 2:00pm & 5:00 pm we will plan to go to Neura Park for our after School program
We will post to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter around 2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to officially share where we will be that day.
A YFC authorized staff member may provide transportation for students from That Place For Teens to the park in the YFC bus, their personal vehicle, or walking, depending upon what is required to accommodate the number of students. At Staff discretion a stop in route to the park at DQ or Speedway, may be allowed for students to get a snack at their expense. At no time will any one student be alone in a vehicle with a staff member.
WE WILL DEPART FOR THE PARK AT 3:00 PM.
YES, they need a separate permission slip signed to be driven to these off site events. This can be found on the FORM & Registration page of the website. The good news is they only need it signed once.
No. The center will close at 3pm when we leave for the park.
WE WILL LEAVE THE PARK AT 5:00 PM to RETURN TO THAT PLACE FOR TEENS. Parents who wish to pick their student up from Neura Park should arrive before 5pm. Any student that we transport to the park, who has not been picked up by 5:00 pm will be taken back to the youth center and should be picked up from there by 5:10 pm.
That is up to you! Please be advised that those who choose to meet us at the park can not be guaranteed a ride back to the youth center for pickup and we will not stay after if you do not get to the park by 5pm to pick them up. We leave at 5:00 pm.
There are new, one-time events being added to the schedule all the time which may require advanced registration. See what's coming up and get registered.
